Eligibility
- Acceptance or active enrollment in a Master’s degree program at an accredited university in the US as an international student
- At least a “B” average (~3.0 GPA)
- Demonstrated need
- Leadership potential
Award: Each year $5000 towards tuition will be given to 4-6 qualified students

How to Apply for the Scholarship

Complete Profile & Sections:
Fill out all personal, and academic information sections.
Submit Required Documents:
Official Transcripts (Undergraduate and any Graduate Studies). Current Resume/CV.
Essay:
Submit a single 250 word essay covering your personal story (may include relevant leadership, volunteer, or work experience), future ambitions, and detailed financial need.
Review and Submit:
Carefully review all sections for accuracy before submitting.

The Seyi Odewale Foundation’s Scholarship Committee employs a holistic review process, prioritizing applicants who demonstrate exceptional financial need to ensure the scholarship provides maximum impact. Beyond academic need, candidates must demonstrate strong academic promise for success in graduate studies, accompanied by notable personal drive and leadership potential, to make meaningful contributions to their field. The final selection is also contingent upon the clarity and strength of the candidate’s vision for their graduate study abroad.
